I dressed up as a traditional Indian for Thanksgiving!

Lady Thanks is her name
what a great young girl,
with eyes that shine amber
and lips like an apple.
All people come out to see her
when she walks through town.
we can see a throng grow
from houses to banks
as people gather
to see Lady Thanks.
Herself and the autumn wind
ride along cheerfully,
surely she sets a trend
as her wings remind those of a turkey.
Her dress like the branches,
and her staff even more.
As her headdress glows bright
for her autumn leaves galore.
Now she is passing through the town to another
as Lady Thanks herself brings people together.
Now she is gone
and thanks is in the air,
for Lady Thanks is nothing,
nothing but fair.





(I thought I writing a little poem to go with it, I hope thats ok ;w; her headdress and staff represent the leaves in the fall, her dress and body representing a tree, the wings a turkey, her lips, apples, her eyes are like the amber that people think of when they hear "autumn" and lastly, the faeries are like the wind thats blows everything around (especially the leaves))

Here is mine. The Chief Daughter Going On a Hunt.

She is beautiful but strong. Many times she has brought a successful hunt. She has fed her village in thanks for raising her. The day she was born was this day and in honor of it she has gone out with the wolf pup given to her since she was a baby and hunted for a feast. Her father the chief has proclaimed her birthday a day for thanksgiving.:"wink"

My Thanksgiving Fallen Leaf Outfit

This is my out fit that I am entering.

I ended up feeling very confused as to what a turkey's colors are. All the cartoon type art I've seen always seems to depict them as mostly brown with red and maybe blue on their heads and yellow feet. But a google image search shows that's not exactly what they look like? They seem more gray or black than brown? O_o So anyway in my confusion I just "winged" it.
