It does not take long for the treeline to break and a winding road to lay before your feet. You knw the nearest town from here---besides yours---Is about a day or twos walk away.
You don't see any recent tracks of passerbys or travelers, but atleast the day is bright and warm, the air smells of sweetgrass and a cool breeze ruffles through your feathers.

It's heavier than you'd expected, however, it's not too tough to position two crates under each arm.
Maybelle herself stacks two together and hefts them up with some effort. She finds her balance and begins the walk to her uncles place.
"Uh, the two you're carrying I'm pretty sure have a pain relief salve and a very tempermental sparking fluid. Originally I was gonna sell it as a camping aid? y'know pour it out, add some nitre and bam you got a blazing bonfire. Gets rid of the pesky issue of wet matches or no dry wood right? It's still a bit too volatile to sell though"
She looks back sheepishly at the admission. As if embarassed that she hadn't figured out the formula yet. Looks like your wishes were answered though.

He tried to ensure there was enough space around him by holding his tail in an arc behind him and watching his surroundings. Definitely don't want anyone to accidentally bump into him while he's carrying this around.

Trill follows the road forward, past the trees and in the direction of the town. It's not as though she hasn't visited such a settlement recently, but it occurs to her that she's never really had much of an opportunity to explore one by herself. Every time, there's always been a great hurry to set up and perform, staying close all the while.
The idyllic weather makes it easy to get lost in thought, and she wanders off the path briefly, wondering what she'll get when she do when gets to town. She supposes she'll just figure it out when she gets there--if she even has the patience to keep following the path for that long. After all, it's all too easy to get bored of walking the same direction if there's nothing along the way to catch her fancy.
(I appear to have the wrong archetype and weapon ^^)
A burly Musk ox eyes you closely as if gauging whether or not you were being sincere. He seems content with what he finds and shrugs.
In a thick accented voice he intones, "Sure, is'allright 'wit me if yer gonna be quick 'bout things."
Inside the small shop are sectioned wood shelves filled with camping supplies, hiking gear, and what looks to be a variety of maps of different regions with tiny annotations.
The Ox has moved his way behind the counter, and is sorting through the register likely counting up the days work and entering nessecary numbers into ledgers.
( oh my goodness what a crazy ride! finally things are getting a little better here so I'll be able to be back on at least enough to respond like a normal person XD I have been so excited to get back into this and am working on line art for the Ox merchant ^w^.)
Lilly respectful looked at his wares taking a special interest in the maps and comparing them to her sketches to see if he had something that better predicted the road ahead from Brookhollow. " I'm Lilly by the way, I'm makin' my way from Shady Shire about ten miles to the south of here.." she said to strike up conversation, and partially because she felt browsing wears at such a late hour and not making the time valuable would be rude and a waste of the king Ox's time. ...I'm not one to make assumptions but perchance do you do a bit of travlin'? she asked kindly making eye contact and taking a moment to study his physique as she has not encountered any Musk Ox before.
