There's a louder creak, then a metallic clank and you can just see the edge of something wide and flat glint through the trees.

There's only one tree on the platform, and even though you're surrounded by deciduous forest, for some reason it's a pine tree. You scramble on just as the platform begins to rise.

It's right above your head, just within your reach. It's smooth and slopes down, like a ramp, but why would someone put a ramp so high up?
