She laughed and gave Shade a vision of what she was doing, laughing and swinging from trees, doing flips and jumping off them for a rush. She seemed like the younger Tess, happy and doing whatever.

Shade looked at the vision sadly. Its too bad we can't change the past, friend....if we could, I'd be all over it. Sorry for making your life miserable. He flies into the stationary, not bothering to land. He flew into his bed, his wings still visible.

Tess would dive into water, not coming up for a few seconds.

He looked at the ceiling. "I've ruined everything for you, for me, for my life...." He turns around and starts to cry into his pillow.

(way to lay on the guilt) She came up, holding a fish, throwing it on the shore.

(Yup-it sucks being a hero.) Shade managed to cry himself to sleep. In his dream, a small little boy was also crying into his pillow. The little boy let out a shudder, and then raised his head from the pillow. His face was covered with tears. The little boy let out a shrill scream. He couldn't make out what he said, but it sounded like a plea for help. Shade woke up with a jolt, his heart was beating.

A canon was heard in the distance. Somebody had died.

Shade's heart beat faster when he heard the canon. He groaned. "That better not have been you, Tess," he said annoyingly. He gets up from his bed and looks outside the stationary.

Tess thought'd she scare him. After all, Karma always comes back to bite you. Shade would be met with a scene that looked like it was outside the base, Tess face down, blood surrounding her.

Shade looked down at Tess' bloody body. His eyes widen. Tears fill his eyes. "Tess, I warned you to be careful...." He runs to the death site, and lifts Tess up in his arms. When the vision clears. She disappears. He flies above the trees again and looks for Tess from above. When he spots her, he hides in the closest tree to her. I swear to god I'll never let you out of my freakin site again.
