I jolt up and grab Tori, pulling her to the nearest window. If it was the shadow people, they probably would have entered without any warning. Better be safe than sorry though, and if anything suspicious were to happen, we could make a quick escape through the window. Not the best plan, but it would work in a desperate situation.

You wobble and almost fall off, but you are high enough to reach the window sill if you lean forward.

Your dagger makes contact and the person dissolves into black tar. Cobalt is busy attacking two at once with relative ease.

I lean forwards, unlocking and opening the window with my hairpin (Im going to assume it was locked).
