Tess would be curled under a tree, sleeping. A wolf pack nearby caught her scent and followed it, hungry. They surrounded her, thirteen in all.

She woke up to growling, fear evident in her eyes.

Shade woke up in a sharp jolt, with a pain in his side. "Oh no, Tess, I shouldn't have left you go yourself...." He groans and gets up from the bed clutching his side.

Dammit, my bow is in the tree and there's no way they'll let me climb.. She showed Shade the situation.

Shade calls out to her in the vision. "Where the hell are you?!" He looks through carefully and tries to spot any noticeable landmarks.

Words appeared across the vision. In the forest, about three miles out.

Shade made visible and spread his wings and managed to come a few feet off the ground. He flapped a little harder and he was above most trees. He searched around looking for Tess. He finally came across the clearing where Tess was surrounded by a pack of wolves. He froze the one nearest to her and he dove in the tree to get her bow. A few seconds later, he tossed Tess's bow to her. "I think you'll need this!"

"Thanks." She quickly knocked three arrows at once and aimed at three wolves in a line, firing and killing all three. She did the same with six more, now three were left.

Shade's sword appeared, and he sliced two more wolves, and he froze the last. He landed on the ground, his wings disappearing. "Why'd you run off?! You knew it was dangerous,"

"I could handle myself, the only reason I needed you was because my bow was in the tree and the wolves weren't gonna let me go, obviously." She shot another wolf, all them dead now. "And I memorize pathways, so I know I wouldn't get lost." She plucked her arrows out of the dead wolves. "Follow if you want, don't expect me to be happy about it."

Shade sighed. "Fine, I'm heading back. See you I guess....." His sword disappears in his hand and his wings appear. "Please. Be careful." He spreads his wings and flies in the air toward the stationary.
