Hi I'm kinda new, I am on the quest to defeat Dreadnaught I think his name is, and I don't know where to find him, I've been going through the fields for a bit and haven't come across him

I can't seem to defeat Cereth or get Jinxie to tell me to not go to the caverns.

I completed the quest for the trolls and have battled in the caverns at least 60 times but she still says I've forgotten something.

I've also tried to defeat Cereth. I'm not sure if I need armors and relics or if it's just a glitch, but I've fought him so many times and failed.

Would appreciate some explanations or help.

If I remember correctly, you just have to keep fighting through the fields until you meet him. It takes a while for the event to trigger.

for the quest, have you gone to the quest log to complete the quest?

You'll need to spend some money to reset your pets level up/proficiency points if you want your pets to fight effectively.

The main thing to note is that you have to choose between strength and intelligence. If you add points to one, don't add any points to the other, because your pet can only use one type of damage, based on whichever is higher, so any points added to the other is wasted.

So when you choose a proficiency tree, make sure it matches the stat profile you've chosen.

Likewise, the equipment you choose should add more points to the stat you've chosen, instead of splitting between both/all stats. Relics should give more physical damage bonus if you chose strength, or magical damage if you chose intelligence.


It also helps if your first pet has more/most points in health, since it will be the pet that have to sustain the most amount of damage usually, so this will help ensure it lasts longer.


Regarding battles, use mend if you can whenever your pet's health falls below 75%. If you can, go to a lower region before fighting a boss, so you can max the health and mana of the pet, and use your finishing blows at the first turn.

I can't remember if Cereth has a special move, but when fighting bosses, read the battle log, as they sometimes have special moves that you can avoid to make the fighting easier.

Hello! I just registered today and now I have a quest from Jinxiie asking me to trap a creature....but I can't understand how to use the trap. I open the satchel, click on the trap try to click on the creature - and nothing - trap goes blank-yellow-green, that's all that happens. What am I missing?

you actualy don't nead to catch a sylesty with an actual trap for this, keep exploring and you will be able to get one and '' catch '' it for the quest (it's scripted).

when an item is not selected his baground is white, when he is he will be yellow and when it's green (with the red target on the wild pet) you have selected the pet you try to catch. for catching the pet you have to end the turn after selecting him with a trap.

Figured that later :D It turned out that I'd caught 2 sylesties while trying.

Can someone tell me or point me in the right direction for Genetic Tests?
Not the exceptional ones...just a regular test.
