He does, too, he's just a bit confused as to why it's cuddling with him. The fox lays down on his leg, its eyes closed in happiness.

He smiles at the fox, gently stroking its ears. Then a rabbit hops right onto his lap, right next to the fox's jaws, and nuzzles him. This surprises him even more.

Within the next few minutes, more animals go right up to him to cuddle, until he has three foxes, two wolves, seven rabbits, two deer, and one massive black bear cuddling with him all at once. He's extremely confused, but quite happy.
