Lilura skips out, holding slightly unfrozen hotdogs and two skewers to cook the hotdogs on. "Sorry, it took forever to find them." Lilura apologizes as she sits next to Casey.

Eira couldn't tell whether it was them the Hunter was here for, or if there was another Intuitive around, which was pretty unlikely. Whichever it was, judging by the way the woman looked around the room for her target, they probably had some time before she caught them. But they couldn't just walk out of there, although the trackers had yet to be upgraded to a point where it could pinpoint more than the general location of an Intuitive, if they left now, it would be pretty obvious it was them. But on the other hand, they couldn't exactly run away here. Outside, they had a chance of getting far enough to be out of the tracker's range with the alleys and side streets. Or maybe they could find a place with a bad signal.
She took a bite of her cupcake calmly, although she was feeling anything but internally. "Got a plan?" she asked, like she was making casual conversation.

Leah checked her tracker again, irritated that while it had led her to here, it couldn't pinpoint exactly which table her target was at. She'd have to be casual about this. Shopkeepers tended to get rather annoyed if hunters dragged screaming Intuitives out of their shop. Or interrogated the customers. It was probably bad for business, and she didn't feel like being kicked out of any public places at the moment, not when she had lost two targets already today, due to her stupid mishaps. She wouldn't make another one. She ordered a muffin, slapping a hundred-dollar bill on the counter as she carefully kept her tracker in her peripheral vision. The brighter and more solid the red dot, the more powerful the Intuitive. She got more bounty for stronger targets, although it didn't matter that much to her as long as she got a few wiped out a day. The dot was blinking almost neon red and didn't have the faintest bit of translucence. Whoever it was must strong. She propped her combat boots on the table, earning her a few glares, and scanned the room, one person at a time, searching for anyone who looked as if they might have to run at any time. In other words, the Intuitives she had come here to find.

"I dunno, still thinkin'," Axel replied. It was times like this he wished his powers worked on himself. "Don't wanna break just yet." Then, softer. "We finish eating first. Less obvious."

He shrugged. "It's not a problem, I like being by a fire. It brings back some memories that are...not all bad."

"Well, duh," Eira huffed, more in nervousness than exasperation, as she took another bite of her cupcake and forced herself to look more relaxed. "Think you can nudge her into, I don't know, being less on guard? If she looks away from her tracker we might be able to sneak out."

"Has to be an emotion." Axel replied. "Confidence maybe? You know, more inclined to take risks?"

"Hmm, I was thinking more negative. Hesitancy - is that an emotion? Maybe uncertainty, she might stall and give us time to escape. Maybe we should hold the confidence until she's actually chasing us."

Leah pretended to fix her hair as she tapped her earpiece. It didn't have a great range, but it should be able to pick up some of the conversations around her.

Axel frowned. "Uncertianty makes you more inclined to double check things." He replied, scratching his head as a waitress brought out his coffee.

"But if you're hesitant, you might think twice about doing something. Maybe you'd be slower."

Weird, Leah thought as the conversation reached her ears. Why are they talking about emotions? She decided to keep an eye on those two, after all she had an Intuitive in the room in a check and could afford to wait until she was sure.

"Look, think about it this way. You're walking through a dark alley way when you think you hear footsteps. The first thing any nervous person would do is double check to see if anybody is following them, right?" Axel explained. "A confident person wouldn't do that. They'd ignore the footsteps and press onward anyway. Hesitance is better if you think the person has at least some morals against assaulting you. Makes you double take, as you question what the right thing to do is."
