A ball of light flickered in and went out after a second. "Good for a first try!" Thalia said. "It's supposed to look like this:" she muttered 'light' and the tree started shining. Fingers clicked and the tree stopped. "Try again, make it work."

"Well, get on my back. There's no time to loose."

He pokes you in the cheek. "Aww, my kitten is afraid now. Tell you what. You can help me help Fate. You will be free, but of you try to run... Well." He smiles.

The tunnel is empty, save a breeze of air.

Orchenia nodded. She concentrated on her mana again. She then concentrated on the bright glow, the rays of sunlight, and lastly the shining light around the tree. She pointed at the tree and muttered "light"

The sapling explodes. Startled, Thalia throws up a barrier that covers both of you. "Hmm. Not good. Let's try mediating your power first, it seems like you put too much energy into it. Here, sit down on the grass and close your eyes. Try to meditate and control the flow of mana."

Orchenia sits down and closes her eyes. She tries to meditate. First she felt her mana. She then tries to see if she could lessen the amount of mana and then increase it.
