"Did Pine's nest layout change your mind on your nest placement?" Tatsu asked his mate as they proceeded. Ainsleigh looked at him as she replied, I haven't changed my mind, I still want it..." She stopped as she noticed the Ny'vene in the hall she was too large for them to pass abreast. Even if she hadn't the padding trot of Nina's feet may have stopped her anyway.
[ "Hello, you must be some of the new guild members" She says, towering over them. ]
Ny'vene were bigger than drayl but less mass, so they were much faster flyers. But on the ground they weren't as well to do going toe to toe with them. Ainsleigh had more than her share of tussels with Ny'vene and inside the guild hallway wasn't the place to start one.
"Yes, my mate and I pledged in a few weeks past. Nina here and some of the others pledged in just this week." Tatsu replied to her.

"Yeah........" Nina commented quietly. "Now why do you need me here? I thought I was going to have a calm day but no." Nina growled softly to herself and then shook her head trying to clear her thoughts. She was in good company and this was no way for her to act. It's just Yama's death had awoken some unknown instinct in her. Yet she didn't know what that instinct was.

Ainsleigh quietly stood her ground and stared eye to eye with Crow. The ny'vene and draeyl of the desert rarely got along, usually competing for the same resources. It was about as cordial as she was willing to get with a ny'vene, they were guild mates so she would hold her peace.
[ Nina commented quietly. "Now why do you need me here? I thought I was going to have a calm day but no." Nina growled softly to herself... ]
Tatsu stroked Nina's head gently with his palm. "We wanted your opinion on shadow casting for our nest. We wanted to be sure it wasn't a gateway source to your realm so it didn't interfere with coming or going for you and Rose, nor have any intruders while nurturing our young." Tatsu told her, "We hoped you'd be willing to help."

Tatsu never had any problems with Ny'vene as his mate had in the mountains. They were neighbors and competition for resources was as much sport as anything else in which the winner simply took the greater share, but everyone usually had enough to survive. "Tis a pleasure ta meet ye purdy maid." He said to Crow, noting that she had no markings of being mated beyond some tears in her leathery wings.

Crow smiles, with a sharp-toothed grin "You're wondering about my wings or why i'm being so kind aren't you, new guildmates usually do" She says, noticing how Tatsu was looking a her wings

Crow presented herself already spreading the width of the hallway. Now that she closed in her could see the sheen of her scales and the gentleness amidst the slit of her eyes. Pretty features for a ny'vene beauty. But his heart belonged to Ainsleigh.
"My curiosity only extends so far as where ye come from, maiden? Have ye a male ta call yer own?" He asked out of courtesy.

Blue and Tomen growled at each other going through the doorway Juhi following close behind. Blue suddenly stopped Smelling something in the air, It was sweet and calming, Lavender....Closing her eyes taking in the scent She bounded up to the Watch Platform her eyes Still closed Opening them only as she reached the pile of burnt feathers that still scattered the wooden platform. " Hey.... don't take this wrong, But he smelled good, what do you guys smell?" she asked trying to determine if it was and enchantment or another type of magic, or if this delinquent just had amazing scent
Tomen followed Airborne Behind blue as she pounced effortlessly to the watch platform. His black raven like wings fluttered as came to a stop about a sapling high off the platform. " Hey Blue.... what ya' lusting after?" He asked a confused look adorning his brow.
" Hey.... don't take this wrong, But he smelled good, what do you guys smell?"
Tomen chuckled and glided down to the area where blue was standing but he could smell something, he just couldn't pin point what it was. after a moment of staring at the burnt feathers it hit him " It smells like Tan'd Cloth, like the ones you wore when you..." once he saw Blue's less than thrilled glare he decided to stop it there
