She looked at what was in her hand. She was curious though, and heading down the end of the hall.

It appears to be some sort of black rock, although upon close inspection you can see a neat almost purposeful seam along it.

She tried to pull the two sides apart.

They easily pull apart and inside you see what looks like a geode, it's a luminious purple and for a brief moment you swear you could see words swirling in and out of coherence on it.

She took a look closer, touching the inside also

A small message appears "Do you agree to attunment?"

She pulls a slightly worried face and whispers, "Uh that depends, am I gonna get cursed or something?"

There's a pause and then the words "This is a communication device, attunment entails being able to use it non-verbally, and being the sole pervayor of messages sent to this geode.

You can choose to refuse, and attune at a later date.

She let out a nervous chuckle, "Uhhh, who will I be communicating to?"
