She hopped off of the tree, following him to go do my chores.

You meet up with the other guard and are led down to the laundry room, a number of others are already here and "busy" at work, in reality they're likely chatting and not working too hard, only putting up an act when the guards are looking.

She frowned, this is why they never get work done early. "How about we all stop chatting about our boring lives and work for once? Sooner we are done this we can go!" She shouted, not really caring about the guards with her.

You notice some of the newer folks instantly duck their heads sheepishly and busy themselves with work, evidently speeding up and heading you. However some of the long-timers just give you a mix of unimpressed or amused glances and carry on chatting while slowly cleaning and folding.

She grumbled and went to help whoever needed it most.

You see what looks like a humanoid volcano in the back of the room, clearly struggling with not burning the sheets, or turning the water into lava rocks upon contact.

She walked over and smiled, grabbing the sheets from them. "You shouldn't have to do this, they try to set you up for failure, if you ever need help just ask me ok?"

They smile nervously and nod, they seems to think about something and then motions with their hands, seemingly conveying a thank you.

She continues doing their work, after she is done that you does anything else that needs doing.

They think for a moment then they perk up and hurriedly looking around, making sure no one is watching pull something from out of the table and place it in your hand. They put a finger up their lips, and then make a shooing motion towards the far end of the hall.
