Kerrigan laughed a little sheepishly, scratching the back of his neck.
"Ah, well, I have issues settling for one lady. I'm not one to settle for just one for very long. Of course, my parents got fed up with me, because I don't take things seriously. I never really have." He admitted, deciding that he might as well tell the truth. After all, they were supposed to gain trust, right?
"So, let me guess, you vetoed all your suitors and your parents finally shipped you here?" He gave a glance down at his own shirt, and imagined the look of terror Fin must have caused some poor guy to feel. Honestly, he admired it. Girls that blindly accepted their fate were kinda... boring.

After about two minutes of screeching insults and threats, she was worn out and took ragged breaths, completely giving in to the fact she was being picked up like a toddler. The demon girl resorted to glaring at Svadis, her red eyes burning with anger even though she was worn out.
"Put me down... I'm not going to be picked up like some toddler..." Her tone was softer, but still angry as she demanded to be put down. She was furious with him, how dare he do this to her?! Why did her parents put here with someone like him? Did they want this to fail?

Fin smiled. The honesty was nice. It was what she expected was why he was here. "Yes, after the last person I... declined... my father was none to thrilled. He is on his last straw with me so now I am here." She said. She shrugged slightly. Her father had taken it easy on her up until the last one, mostly because of the severity. That man had it coming though. She was simply teaching him a "lesson". She sat back again. This may not be so bad.
Covvi gave a quick nod. "Ah yes ma'am." He sputtered. More assertive? How? He flinched slightly considering it. His parents had been very adamant about him always doing just as they said. From where in his childhood had they ever taught him assertiveness?

" ...thats good enough for now. " She said. She'd never in her life had to actually teach someone how to be assertive, it was usually something that either you're parents taught you or just clicked in you're head. But it seems neither of those things had happened to him.

The half dragon huff in aprobation as she calmed down, apparently she had learn her lesson for now. He would have prefered if she would have ask in a nicer tone but he knew better then to expect it from that forced mate tho he was half tempted to drop her down for it. Instead he placed her unseremoniously back onto the couch she had been sitting on earlyer and wrap his tail back onto his midsection beneth his shirt. Most dragons would think of this habit as an odd one but to him this action ment more then meet the eyes, it was a relic of a simpler time in a way.

Jishii gave a slight huff as she was set down, still glaring daggers up at Svadis. This entire academy was probably going to push her limits, and she wasn't looking forward to having to marry the half dragon at all, not when they obviously didn't get along.
"Pick me up again and sweat to god I will make sure you don't have either of your arms to pick me with." She snarled, standing back up once again. It was one thing to make treat her like a child, but being controlled or manipulated always seemed enrage the demon girl.

Suddenly interrupting everyone's conversations, a woman with grey-blue hair enters the building from two large wooden doors that were previously closed and locked. From behind her, you could see the hallway that lead to the rest of the academy. A big smile was on her face as she looked around the room, looking at all the betrothed couples. Her gaze lingered on one couple in particular, a small demon girl and a half dragon who were bickering. It hadn't surprised her, she had expected the commons to be up in flames from the fighting couples, she was more surprised that they were acting like civilized people.
"Welcome all of you, to Xenakis Academy! If I may, I ask you follow me to the auditorium for a short speech before we start the tour! You are to sit with your future husband or wife, your seat number is on the card with your spouse's information. Thank you for your patience!" With that, she turned on her heels and started towards the large auditorium down the hall.
A man accompanied her as she walked, his expression not smiling as she glanced towards everyone in the room. He let out a small "hmph" before following after the woman, staying directly by her side.

Soren scratched his head and stared after the woman and her retreating companion. "They seem a little strange. I'm tempted to not go to the auditorium. Or maybe I should rig something so that they can't sit down," he mused, mostly to himself, very much not following the two to the auditorium.

Fin watched the pair enter. After they had finished talking, she slowly stood up and pulled out her card. "We should find our seats. The faster, the better I should think." She said. She glanced at it then returned it to her pocket. She held out her hand to Kerrigan.
Covvi shut his eyes tight, only opening them upon hearing the woman declare they had to go into the auditorium. "We sh-should go." He whispered. He watched her intently, waiting for her to make the first move towards the auditorium.

She nods, taking out the card and beginning to walk toward the Auditorium. She found their seat number and put the card back into her pocket, glancing back at him to see if he would follow, but not actually stopping for him.
