Akoni seemed to pipe down after having his hair fluff loved out of his face, and if a bat could blush, well, he would probably be doing that. He shook his head again and started squeaking more. Akoni studied the room in awe for a moment, seeming to be a bit distracted from his previous squeaking. He looked up at him again after being set down, and he had about enough by now. He watched him read the letter a couple times before poofing into his human form, having a very annoyed and sour expression.
"Just who do you think you are to kidnap me?! I am NOT a pet! What's with that letter?! I do not approve of being carried around like a puppy! Show some respect you human!" He yelled, standing up on the bed with his arms crossed and a nasty glare on his face.

"It's essentialy tree sap, and it's naturally very sweet." I explain, I had made sure to grab a notepad and pen so that I could continue to talk to him as we walked. The cafe was a couple blocks down so we got there within minutes I open the door and hold it for him.

"That should explain the Kidnapping bit, As for the Pet part I needed to make up some valid excuse for myself while you adjust, I tend to draw a lot of questions, and currently the question of why are you harboring a demon sounds a lot more irritating than why do you have a pet bat............... also, I thought it more Respectful to hold you than to put you in a bird cage...... The conversation the rest of the way was very simple he asked about things he saw in shops as you passed by and what you could find in each one, and how to get things from the stores, though after a bit he seemed very concerned with finding a way to get a "Work" so he can go to the "Places". As you held the door he nodded his head in thanks as he slipped in his hands in his pockets and his posture a bit withdrawn as he seemed to become a bit uncomfortable with all the people around him, making him follow you closer than usual
