Blanche sighed and wiped down the chair a client had just vacated. It had been a slow day, and now was time to close shop for the evening. Carefully, she went through the small parlour, cleaning and checking inventory. Truth be told, even if her inventory had been wrong she likely wouldn't have known. But it seemed like she had enough for the next few days, and that satisfied her.

She quickly gathered the small bit of income that the day and brought before leaving and locking up as best she could. Engines rumbled as cars raced down the streets and she frowned at the overly bright lights of the city. Quickly, she made her way down the streets, doing her best to avoid getting hit by cars and avoiding areas with too many people.

Hopefully tomorrow would be a rinse, repeat of today. It was never very exciting, and it likely wouldn't ever help her get out of debt, but at least it was safe.

He didn't phase this time, letting her hit him and taking the impact with him, using her own momentum against her to send her off balance and try to land a hit of his own.

Eliza quickly got up and pushed her down again this time saying much more firmly "You can't. You'll kill yourself. You need to rest"

They watched him curiously and poked his head, wasn't there something he could do? an errand perhaps?

She grinned watching the match with interest.

Envy matched her stance and waited for her to strike first.

Avery decided to stay behind, they kind of stood out after all.

Elisa looked doubtful "At least let me come with you."

Blanche jumped when she heard someone approach her from behind. Quickly, she thrust her hand into her pocket and spun around to point her taser at the unidentifiable person.

"Like me? I'm afraid I don't know what you mean, or what it is you're trying to imply, but I'm not the type of person who's agreeable to being snuck up on in the dark. Who are you and what do you want?"

The strange male felt odd to her, as though there were something in the air about him. Blanche frowned, and felt her skin itch. She'd felt this way around the occasional client, but not very often at all, and she'd never seen one of these people for more than one piece of work. And always those people tended to be very quiet and reserved, not nearly so outright flirty as this stranger seemed to be.

She nod " The voices of the plant guided me here. I am never alone so it's not that hard to live outside, it's nice to be able to talk to people again tho."

Envy dropped into a roll but instead of rolling away he barreled into her and attempted to get her into either a headlock or an armbar, however, he phased his head and gut to protect himself from any oncoming blows.

Eliza looked down at her twitching body and instinctively put a hand out to rub her head, and shoulders and back in a soothing manner. She couldn't imagine what the poor girl had been through.

Rel hummed a tune as he looked through his supplies. He pouted when he saw that he was low on begonias. He'd have to go into town to collect some. He grabbed his bag, locked up the house, and with a twirl of his robes and a short incantation he teleported to a back alley in town.
