"I didn't want Smith to tell him yet. If he's still thinking about that during the competition it will slow him down and that's the last thing we need. Alex...he won't listen to me or Smith but maybe you could help him get over it?" she pleased with you " He'll listen to you... he trusts you." she said and then turned to leave.

As your sitting on the couch Alex walks back out of his room wearing a fresh outfit and looking more normal now.

Your to busy thinking and braiding your hair to notice him and the minute he spots you he stops in his tracks. For a while he just stood their watching you then continued walking towards the couch.

He sits a a couple feet away from you and just stares at his hands.

"It's okay..." i say stopping mid-braid....i put it down and hold his shaking hands
