Zana tended to ignore the setting here. She strolled a bit faster and deeper into the building. She jumped up and began to scale a wall and crawl up into a crawl space.

Zana was sitting at a window, the breeze ruffled her now dirty fur. She was watching the sky longing for the mortal world portal to re-open and allow demons of any kind to pass through and see the stars. Too bad it only opens in limited windows of time for Child Knappers only. Her shift of Kapping was later in the day, which meant there had to be exceptions.

Zana tapped her green fingers on the window sill bored. She sighed the scar on her midriff shifted and growling sound gently snapped her awake from her haze. She mentally scolded it. I said you can have souls when we get to the surface!
