The beast of a demon laid on the ground, dead, while the weaker of the two stood victorious. Of course, this wasn't surprising, as the weaker one was Zux, a gladiator with a growing reputation in the Arena. His speed and flexibility allows him to out speed and trick his foes
His victory was just announced by whoever does that, he never cared enough to find out. He left the arena, he did this often, usually returning when a opponent he found 'worthy' enough to fight appeared

Zana stretched and scratched at the scar on her midriff, she yawned and turned on the ignition for the van. She drove causally towards the arena and donned her expressionless 'mask'. She parked the car and stepped out. She drew her blade and signed her name on the clip board for the next round.

Zux looked back at the arena and saw someone who caught his eye, and although his mouth was covered, you could tell he was grinning. He was signing the clipboard in a matter of seconds, making sure he'd get a match with this mystery demon

Zana noticed this but kept quiet gripping her dagger tighter.
The man in charge shouted a few things before yelling, "Next Round start!"

Zux walked up to Zana, staring at her "It's me against you, something tells me this is going to end in a draw" He stated, calmly walking past her and into the arena, humming a small tune as he did

Zana followed silently spinning the blade with quick easy movements of her wrist, she still said nothing and took her place on one side of the blood stained arena.

The Announcer yelled for the match to start, just as he did Zux seemingly disappeared, although a demon with good senses would be able to tell he was running along the edge of the arena, carefully watching Zana

Zana quietly timed him, she knew from experience the fast one's go in for the kill more efficiently then a slower demon, she tensed her muscles and relied on her large ears to time the right moment.

Zux rushed in, but instead of attempting to kill Zana he jumped over her, twirling the air, after that he started making.. rather odd... maneuvers. He knew what she was expecting, so he was waiting for her to make her move. He also made sure he was right out a reach her blade, almost like he was teasing her.
This was his game, and he didn't plan on losing it
