Seeing the contract that the others were signing, Druid quickly signed as well.Pulling back, a few moments later was when the fight broke out. She, herself, not being one for intense combat and more for tact and strategy, moved and ducked, weaving through the crowd to exit the tavern in a timely fashion, sitting just outside as she listened to the grand commotion inside, that seemed to go on for quite some time. Sighing, her ear twitched when she heard a great roar, and the scuffled seemed to die down.
Patiently, she waited a few moments before before the buck captain came out, with a few others, and she hopped down, following after them in a silent fashion. She could smell the blood of the fight on some of the others. Being lead up to ship, she took a moment to admire the craft of the vessel before following the others aboard once more.
Once on the deck, the sea air filled her lungs a great deal more, and she hummed slightly in relief. She had maps of the sea, newly made. She could be a great help indeed, as there is always a course to plot on the open ocean.

(OOC: Sorry I am unable to ping you guys at the moment.)
Byrd hung back from the others as they headed towards the north star.
"I'm staying at an inn a few blocks from here called the Olde Oak though, I'd much rather sleep on the ship. If you'll excuse me, I must retrieve my things and pay the innkeep. I'll be back soon as I can."
As soon as Byrd was able to confirm that someone had heard and understood his message, he turned and continued down the street. He thought to himself that he'd best bathe himself and rid his fur of the stench of blood before boarding the ship. So, he padded his way down the pock marked road still in his bad mood but knowing that things would soon be much better.

"Fret nay Byrdie, I'll pass't onta the quartermaster fer ye." She called to the lighira. Though she was barring the big nytekrie's path to follow the others.
"Now hold still big feller, I'm nay in'ersted in becomin' in'imate wit' yer insides. I jus' wanna look at yer shackles, there." She tried to tell the big creature. Her large tail rose up as she bent down to inspect the old rusty shackle. The lock mechanism was old and rusty, tricky, but it seemed doable. She opened up the left side of her vest where some secret pockets held her picks and tool and a bulb of whale oil. Ilmarinen could see what she was doing clearly. "Guess I got nay worries aboot ye tellin' aboot me lil pocket, eh?" She asked rhetorically with a sly wink. "Jus' gimme a few moments here." Crystal slathered the joints and linkages with the whale oil. She used her paws to work it into the ******s and a small file to start smoothing the opening to the keyhole. After a few moments and a couple of times waving Ilmarinen beak away so he wouldn't lap away the whale oil, Crystal started working the shakle with her picks. She had the tumblers corrected in under ten seconds, but she had to jig work some rust that kept the last tumbler from slipping, but he was free in under fifteen seconds and the old rusty lug dropped onto the ground before the nytekrie's eyes.
"There ye go matey. Yer free as ye please, now get away from here afore someun' else decides ta claim ownership o' ye." She told him as she wiped her oil soaked paws along her beak, since it seemed rather tasty to the big brute.
She then picked up her seabag and trussed it over her shoulder and started for the North Star, leaving Ilmarinen alone to decide what he should do himself...

Garvin "Gar"~male~ The North Star
"Alright ye all get situated, find a bunk, cry in a corner, whatever just don't murder one another till we get out to sea. I'll be in me Captian quarters speakin' wit' Tulio." With that he led the puff to his quarters beneath the wheel of the ship. "So ye finally found it? 'n ye brother didn't mind ye just takin' it?"
"He doesn't know I have it yet. That's why I'm going with you when you leave tomorrow." Tulio answered laying the map up on the table though he sat a paw on it to protect it.
"Ye be out 'o ye mind! I have ship full 'o new crew mates 'n ye exspect us to just leave?! I be sorry but I'll have to decline." Garvin snapped pouring himself a shot glass of a rather strong beverage. After drinking it he turned away from the puff having offered him some, though a shake of the head was his only answer from Tulio."
"What if I paid you twice as much as I offered you before." This caught the captain's attention. An ear turned to listen to the words the puff was saying.
"Ye drive a harrrd bargain Tulio. We leave to'orrow at first light, don't be late." With that the Bulbori turned his attention to the window he was looking out of. They were done here, no more was to be said.
Tulio~male~ currently none
He exited the quarters then looking about the crew of misfits. "Cmo me met en este lo..." He growled shaking his head before making his way across the deck. It was going to be a long journey though the reward would be great. Think of all that they could do with that much money! There was a whole city of gold waiting to be found and taken. They were going to El Dorado. With a wag of his tail he took a seat next to the wheel licking on of his front paws. He had delt with Garvin before, the old buck knew what he was doing as long as there was gold for him to spend afterwards. Much was the way of most pirates.

Ilmarinen ~~ 16 ~~ Male ~~ the inn
As the bulbori talked to him he simply angled his head to the side, tilting it in a birdlike manner. His golden eyes rested attentivly on the male infront of him as if he was given strict orders by his master. Althought the strict atention was mostly due to the funny way the little creature spoke. It was a way of speaking he had never really heard untill he reached this harbour so it amuzed him quiet a bit to just listen at it. As the bulbori made its way to some other creatures, the massive beast that had shaken the entire building by a simple roar beeing one of them. Unsure of what to do now he simply raised his left paw once more, starting to work on the remains of his chackle, the massivly thick iron braclet as the rain keep pouring down over him.
He had been working on the bracelet for some time when he was inteupted. A voice talking to him made him look up with his golden coloured eyes. Without a sound, without a movement he just looked at her, givng the impression of a beaten dog rather than a predator that at some parts of the world is in the top of the foodchain. He just sat there, not moving an inch in the pouring rain. It was a rather small creature, maby two or three bites as most if he decided to eat the creature but he had never eaten anything else than fish, so for him it was not even on the map. He never imagined eating anything other than fish so for him the question of if he should eat her or not was confusing more than anything. The spotted male didnt even notice the bulbori or the others leaving him and the little creature that slowly aproached him.
As he was told to stay still he stoped moving instantly, he had been on his way to put the tail around him but as he was told to stay still he stopped moving compleatly. He have been under the compleat controll of others his entire life so the instinct to obey was heavly ingrained in him. The tail simply stoped midair, however when she opend a container withsomethign that smelled like food, like fish his eye got a lot more curious. And as she was smearing the smelling substance over the chakles he lowerd his head. Slowly, carefully he started licking it off the iron braclet covering his leg. But once his head had been waved of a couple of times, around six or so, he gave up, letting her do what she wanted with the tasty tasting substance. Despite it honestly seeming like a waste to him. But as the sound of metall hitting the cobble that made up the street was heard he almost fliched, staring at the last piece of the shackle that rested on the ground. A while he just stared at it in dibelife before slowly pushing it with his beak. The distinct sound of metall scrapping against rocks. As the realization of it hit him he got a small spasm of joy and the chackle went flying before hitting a barrle that broke into pieces for simply standing there the piece of metall landed.
With that done he looked after the furball that had releaced him of his last painfull memory in physical shape of his past. Quickly he trotted up to the animal, gently grabbing her by the tail and put the little creature on his back. Once the sylesti was on his back he gratefully rubbed his head against her, like a affectionate pet more than anything else. With that done he simply begun walking after the group that had left them behind. His ancle just above the paw was tender and felt weak without the suport of the chakle but he easly ignored it, simply walking with the little furball on his back. As he got to the ship the others walked up on he stoped, looking at it a moment before laying down and putting the tail at his side as a extra step for her to step on before going on the docks.

Crystal flinched and stood still for a moment when she heard the barrel crack and splinter from the strike of the shackle, then the sliding clank of the hated symbol of slavery cast away. She had slowly decided to turn her head and look in the direction of the sound, especially with the gently splashing of footfalls coming toward her. Before she saw Ilmarinen, she felt his beak grip onto her beautiful, fluffy tail and lift her into the air without so much as a 'by your leave!'
"Whoa, oh, aaooohh!" she squealed for a moment, thinking the brute had been so famished that it'd rather eat her than thank her, recover its strength, then be on it way. Her limbs flailed about for a few moments, but it was hopeless as the rising of the tail lifted her rump over her torso and her limbs reaching for the wet, cobbled ground. Imagine her surprise when he gently deposited her on his back, then pressed his forehead against her side affectionately. "Oh gawon ye spotty cret're. I canna' abide anybeast bein' a slave ta anudder, is all." She said blushing with embarrassment. He took off trotting after the others, but the rain was causing Crys to slip from his back. She gripped on with both paws full of feathers and clung on for the ride. She wasn't used to riding another creature either but even with her inexperience she could feel the lope in Ilmarinen's gate from the sore ankle. "Careful there Spots. I ain't un fer ridin'. Say tis a bandy name fer ye, Spots! What'cha t'ink aboot that Spotty me ol' messmate?" She asked the big, nytie brute just before they arrived at the North Star's gangway. She noticed he had raised his meaty tail up for her to dismount. She daintily got down, walked into his field of vision and curtsied politely. "Thankee kind sir,.. Er tis madam?... In any 'vent thankee for the lift an' yer he'p down. So what da ye t'ink?" She asked Ilmarinen as she raised both paws out to present to the nytekrie, the ship that would be their home for the next several months of adventure. "Feel like steppin' aboard an' stretchin' yer feathers next ta a warm stove, er would ye be happier soakin' oop in yon crow's nest?" She asked him pointing to the cabin portal, then all the way up at the top of the mast where an overlook shaped much like a nest hung, backgrounded by the gloomy clouds overhead.

A loud crack of something colliding with wood caused Druid to jump and turn, seeing a barrel a few feet from her in splinters. She then noticed the shackle. It looked to be something from the slave trade. A most undesired profession, in her opinion. She then turned to see, to her humor, the grateful syesti put the smaller creature upon his back. She hummed then, and turned her back to the barrel, wondering about the ship a bit more, before climbing the stares to the upper deck to get a better look.
Looking from the rails, she noticed that the bulbori was no longer out and about, though she then recalled the buck saying he was going to talk to that male in his quarters. Her fur felt like it was vibrating with energy. All this was very new to her, as she turned and walked down the stairs again, looking out at the sea before them, as the ship remained docked. What kind of adventure was out there?

Kana heard quite the racket up on deck, though she was quite distracted by the cleanliness of the gun deck she decided it best to go investigate the commotion. As she emerged she saw that things had quieted down and everyone was finding their quarters. She couldn't help but wounder what the open sea was going to be like, and where they wee headed. She trotted up on deck and made her way to the mast climbing it to the crows nest that overlooked the salty sea and was overlooked by a blanket of stars. She sighed and rolled over onto her back looking up at the delicately decorated night sky, she didn't know how some navigators who cam into the bar thought this job boring, the sky was lovely and peaceful. Unlike her short wiley and full of trouble, she giggled at the comparison. The two did have one thing in common, they were full of wounder and made for adventure.

The rain had stopped by the time Byrd headed out again. His pack slung over his back and with he calm breeze from the midnight sea he felt much more at ease.
He approached the North Star and took a moment to admire the old ship. It was in good shape considering the obvious age of the vessel. He padded up the gangplank onto the deck and caught some movement out of the corner of his eye. He looked up to the crows nest to see a stubby little tail wagging joyfully.
"Enjoying yourself up there?" he called out to Kana.

She heard someone call from below and swung her two front paws over the edge of the nest " Aye! the sky looks so pretty tonight, you should take a breather and check it out Kitty" It was then she realized she had neglected to get anyone name, though Kitty seemed to fit his character perfectly in her mind. Not that he was soft and small, but that he had a kind heart and deep down a possible playful side judging by the notches she noticed in his blade earlier. nothing else about him was compatible to a kitten, just like nothing much about her compare to the stars it the sky. " I didn't manage to catch yer name earlier, Hope you didnt Mind the kitten thing its not teasin or anythin," she said trying to fix her slip up.
