Go into the party manager page and click the thick red dash next to the pet's level.
If I wanted to remove Olde Painclaw from my party, I would click the circled dash.

Thank you! This guide is a lifesaver - I couldnt solve the Tomb Riddle due to legastenic issues, And trying to beat Desius with all his power is - pretty impossible =D
