tbh that was my main motivation to write this walkthrough. - I wanted to go to nostalgia land :)

TYSM this guide is my savior! In of Aryth's Spire, that big fight at the start, look what I got myself into. And with no droughts or elixirs. I'm in trouble . . .

just a question - if you failed to move the boulder in the Enigmatic Grotto, will you eventually meet Casius either way? or will it be faster since you moved it? i just wanted to know since i failed ^^'

I'm not sure! Try it and find out. I don't think a simple error like that can derail the entire game. We're only allowed to have one account per person (walkthrough account excluded), so I think it's impossible to actually get stuck.

I like how you refer to your build in Umbra Forest as the 'overkill defense build.'

I usually go for a more defensive roster myself, and my current party is Water (Healthx2), Water (Strength/Health), and Light (Intelx2).

awesome! Tbh you can't really go wrong with that kind of combination. It is a very difficult build during the rare times when you need to deal a high amount of damage ~ but its virtually indestructible XD

This guide saved my life I spent nearly and hour reading it and prepping me and my pets for upcoming battles. The strategies you mentioned have been really helpful.

A quick note on the Garden of the Magnates: Since I didnt want to use up an expensive elixir right away, plus a restore potion, I used the hide option. Not only did I get some info, I also started out with healthy pets... Yay! I used your advice and kept on attacking the middle enemy. It worked amazingly! I also switched my teams positions around. Red Dawn was the middle for a while, then Zinnia. Dacia diligently stuck to the side and worked on the middle/most dangerous side. I managed to avoid three arch mages at the same time, but I did end up with two at the same time but thanks to a lot of elixirs I survived. My party was Shadow and Light on the outside with Fire on the inside, then it changed to Shadow and Fire on the outside with Light on the inside, because Zinnia happens to deal an incredible amount of damage even though shes a Light pet, because I switched her abilities around last week. And she heals herself and Red Dawn and Dacia, who work together mostly because together they have a lot of power. Anyway, your advice was amazing. Usually I go for the sides first because they are weaker, but Im glad that I didnt. :D
My pets, especially Red Dawn, say thank you.

Oh yeah also when I sent my pets to rescue Feron, they succeeded but we had to battle that cool qitari.

Update: Im at the tomb. I took your advice again and didnt try to distract them. (I got kinda bored killing zombie soldiers though. They died after one hit and were instantly replaced by new ones.) So far your advice has saved me and my party several times. Thanks!

I have failed to activate any seals, so Im going back to try again.
