When I woke back up I felt even worse. Not by much but when your stranded out at sea I think you got to complain.

My mouth was dry and cottony feeling, and that damn seagull was still crying out overhead. I had waken up a little while ago too and in a last ditch effort attempted to 'paddle' somewhere.

I got nowhere.

I brushed dried salt from my face before opening my eyes. Ouch ouch ouch burns! I guess I missed a patch...

After I got done blinking through tears from salt getting in my eye I surveyed my surroundings.

Ocean...Ocean...Ocean...Seagull....Island...

Island.

I swear I almost cried (or maybe I was....or it could just be the salt...).

Since she was tired to wait and that she was already in her soaring form she decided to check around. As long as she stayed away from the jungle and in the airs she should be fine even on her own.

It took only a few minutes before she notice a body floating toward the island and went to check on it.

( A small refresh since you may not know what it look like, her soarin form is basicly her making bat wings out of her arms and changing her skull of form slightly to be more aerodynamic.)

I carefully shifted myself around on the tube, careful not to get my stunner any wetter than it was. I large shadow fell over me and I figured it was that pesky seagull.

She swirl around the boy a few times trying to figure out if he was still aware of his surrounding. The majores issues with this form were that it coudn't stay stationary while flying and that she had only a very limited capacity to bring him with her. " Hey, you are awake down there ?"

I jolted as I heard the seagull talk.

Wait seagulls don't talk.

I reached up to shield my eyes from the sun as I peered upwards. The shadow looked like a bird but...was that a person using their quirk?

I worked my jaw a bit and replied best I could "Are you a talking seagull?" I said tentatively, my voice cracking from disuse and dryness.

She giggle at his answer. " No but at least you are still partialy aware of your surrounding."

I felt my whole body slump with relief.

"Your from that boat to right? The ummm" -I struggled to remember the name- "I can't remember..." I finished lamely.

She would have shrug but coudn't do so while flying at the moment. "Yea, how about we discuss that once you get on land, uh? This form isn't ment to pick things up so i may have to get a bit crafty with this."
