All of a sudden, the light extinguishes completely, leaving you in total darkness. You hear a raspy and not at all welcoming voice begin to speak.
"Well, master, it seems that the thirteen lost ones had one final parting gift for us..."
Then another voice begins in reply. It is more commanding but no more pleasant than the first.
"Is that so?"
"Yes, master, the luckiest one has granted one of them his blessing post-mortem. "
There's a pause, and then the second voice begins to laugh, a terrible noise like nails on a chalkboard.
"How hilarious! And the weakest of them, too! They think they can somehow defeat us through the innocent ones after the end, when they couldn't do it themselves in their lifetime." "Master, it would appear that we are being eavesdropped on." "Ah, so it seems. No matter, we'll let them off easy this time..."
There's a sudden harsh sound like metal ringing against metal right in front of your face, and then you're back in the forest, leaning against the tree, with no sign that anything out of the ordinary happened.

You make a somewhat successful makeshift splint. It's not the prettiest thing, but it should do.
The Avia stays rooted on your arm. Seems it's not going anywhere for now.

In what direction? Away from the hole, or towards the hole (where the sunflower is pointing)?

They turn out to be tiny silver berries of some sort. They're hard to the touch, not squishy as one might expect, but they're attached to the bush like normal berries.

You pass through the hole you made earlier, and find yourself... in a cave? There is no sign of the sunflower field, however what would be the cave entrance where you just entered is blocked by the bark surrounding the hole.
