Just in time, too, as three people charge at you, snarling inhumanly, from a side alley. And these ones are armed.
One of them rushes at you.
"Don't let them bite you!" yells Cobalt, drawing his sword.

I do as I am told and attack with ease. I almost get bit before I cut one of them.

As soon as your dagger cuts into it, the person - if you could still call it that - dissolves into a puddle of black tar.
Cobalt yelps in pain. He's taken down another, there's still one left.
What do you do?

You take it by surprise and it dissolves, leaving behind the knife it had been holding.
Cobalt's arm is bleeding. "Ow ow ow stupid thing stabbed me," he gasps.

Immediately upon seeing the injury i tear some cloth from my shirt and wrap it tightly around the injury. This way it doesn't get too infected and pressure is applied from the tight wraps.

I check myself for any injuries. I don't find anything too serious. Just a few scrapes and bruises.

As he says this, one of the puddles of tar stirs.
Cobalt practically drags you down the street. "We're not too far from our destination, stay alert."
