Tatsu & Ainsleigh

From the back of the pack, Ainsleigh and Tatsu stared at each other a little soured. They ended up having to go first to let the others by so they waited in the bar for the others that were involved last night. Blue and Tomen selected a table and they watched Pine come up to them and talk for a little while. The two of them approached and joined them without asking for an invitation.

"Taking the defensive is a bad idea, Pine." Tatsu stated. "Our enemy knows where we are, they have a traitor that apparently knows our weaknesses and can breech the primary defenses." Battle tactics and stratagem was Tatsu's dope, and he wasn't feeling inclined to sit back and keep himself at ease in this situation. "I'm sure the leadership has a plan for modifying the barrier to try and keep them out. But we need intelligence more than we need improved defenses." Ainsleigh also had her share of input as well. "Yer light barrier makes a great defense, but look around ye. All the trees in this forest cast shadows in that light which makes access ways to the shadow realm. It's a good bet Puppet's ally is either ryori, or someone trained in the darkness arts by one. Odds are also, that this ally has only found that one doorway into the enchanted forest."
Tatsu nodded at his mate's comments and combat experience. "It's just my two cents Blue, but yew or Tomen ought to return to the scene of the fight with Nina or Rose. Yew might be able to sniff out where the strongest concentration of their scents are and the ryoris, er even Vee, maybe able to see and invoke the doorway in order to seal it. That can buy us some time while his ally tries to find another shadow portal inside the barrier. I'm sure the leadership will agree to get ye two or three experienced fighters to protect ye during the search. We need ta know where they got in, and we can't afford to go out in fewer than three er four so we aren't easy ta pick off." Tatsu's injury maybe a blessing. There's no way the rain could wash away his crash site overnight and it's close to the loction." She then stepped up close to Pine, within inches of hs muzzle. "And you are going to give me Yama's egg." She growled up close defensively. "A bachelor male like you and your non-draeyl buddies can't do as much as I can for nurturing him. He may have all of his faculties, but he will still physically be a child." She was very insistant.

Blue smiled " Fine With me, Tomen?" she looked at him so he could speak any Ideas he had,

" I guess we could, I mean I know you have your plan, why not do that backwards?" he said simplistically. He wasn't really interested in going back to the pile of ashes, but he would do what he was told, He tilted his head watching Blue Pace on the floor.

Blue stopped pacing for a moment " Unfortunately I don't think Backwards will work, But Opposite may work.." She paced a bit more running through a list in her head, suddenly she stopped "anyone have a Magic that drains Energy?" She said lifting her head and looking around the bar.

Vee suddenly came walking into the bar. "Heheh.. Hiii~ I couldnt help but notice that you guys need someone with energy draining powers, so hey here i am!" She introduced herself.

"But you are going to need someone." Vee smiled at Rose.

Blue nodded respectfully, " Well there Ya go" she said to Tomen, who merely nodded and turned back to Pine and the others to await further instructions
