I don't know what's making you so miserable, but I hope I can help in some way." I rest my hand on his shoulder, sighing. I walk a little ahead of him and turn to look at the male. Standing with one clumsy hand on my hip and the other dangling by my side, I wonder what has happened to him previously.

"I don't mean to pry, but could I see them (the scientists) ?" I ask imploringly, looking at her with an eager look, doing my best to bend her will. I have some suspicions of who and what she is, though I'm not completely sure.
