Jaypaw burst into the bracken with Petalwater. Nodding at the medicine cat, Emberstep hurtled off into the bushes to rip apart this badger with the patrol.
The elderly she-cat was panting but wasted no time patching up Frostpaw's wound which stinged horribly with a yellowy paste.
"What should I do?" I ask

His tail swished as he laughed uncertainly, slowing down so you didn't need to trot to keep up with him. Soon you reached a sweet-smelling sap line along the trees and he halted. It was mixed with your own Clan scent.

"can I help?" I ask the medicine cat as a new apprentice i know nothing about fighting and will most likely get in the way

I am not happy they have to help me, but I realize I probably couldn't make it back on my own so I don't comment.

Carefully picking up Frostpaw's right rear leg, I nodded at Cloudpaw and Petalwater.
