There was a 'FOOOOM' sound and fire blazed up from the sapling. "Very good!" Thalia clapped her hands together as she reverted the sapling back to it's normal state. "Now, try using different elements. Fire is a very basic one."

She nodds and waits for Thalia to give more information

She gestures at you. "Go ahead, try water, earth, wind, ice, or whatever you think could work."

Orchenia nods and decides to try water. She first focused on her emotion of passion (Why not give it a try again). Then she concentrated on water. She thought of its cool wetness against skin, the clear blueness of it, and lastly tiny water droplets erupting from a flood of the clear, wet water. She then pointed her finger at the bush and said with a loud, sharp, confident voice "Water."

(I guess he didn't just walk out to where I could follow?)

The sapling's leaves immediately shrank, drying up and withering away. From the trunk of the sapling, a fountain bursts out. "Hmmm... that's... not exactly supposed to happen. Try again." Thalia snaps her fingers and the sapling heals. "Keep in mind an idea that the thing will stay in it's initial form. It's leaves falling apart is not a good thing. Right now we're doing minor magic, but your small mistakes can cause large problems when we do more complicated spells."

(He's actually right outside the cave, but Plat as no way of knowing that. To her, he already left.)

Orchenia nods and tries again. She thought of water again. the wetness covering the sapling, but the sapling staying the same. She thought of clear blue wetness erupting over the water with tiny droplets dripping down the sapling. She pointed at the sapling and said, "Water."

Small beads of water form on the leaves like few. This time, the sapling kept intact. "Excellent!" Thalia exclaims. "Try resetting the sapling like I do. I'm not going to instruct you on this; I want to see if you can figure it out." She sits down on a white wood bench at the side of the garden, watching you.

As he walks down the hall, he slams his staff into the ground a couple of times. Each time, the crystal on top flares and some clanking can be heard. At the end of the hallway, mechanical griffins, dragons, and almost any animal imagineable gathered.

(but.. what if I don't want to?)

"I-is it worth killing them all?" she asked tentatively
