Where do you head to?
Relaying the information in his mind, well what he could recall, he decides to head off to the forest. Maybe a walk through the trees would help him clear his head enough to get his thoughts straight.

you know there is a forest near the lake so you walk there. It's a fairly quick walk and you make it there easily. The forest is buzzing with life. you can hear animals skittering in the bushes.

Once making into the woods he stops, using a tree as a backrest as he sits down. He just wanted a bit of rest....

You walk back to the spot below the cave. It looks like a dangerous climb but you can try it.
