Go to explore > party. Click the red minus button to remove the current pets. Select from the drop down list which pets you want in your party. If you have saved different party combinations, you can just change the party, without needing to remove the current party pets.

I was wondering if it's possible to buy cooldown potions (the ones you use mid-battle). If it is possible, where do I buy them?

If you go to the town (Esior's Haven, and later in the game Sanctuary of Saerielle), there is a market that sells potions and elixirs. If you want those that can be used in battles, buy the elixirs. Potions can't be used in battles (it's written in the item description if you hold your mouse over the item)

I forgot how to catch wild animals. Someone help!

You need to buy traps from the shop, then when you're in a battle
1. lower the opponents health
2. Click the satchel/bag picture
3. click the trap and click the pet (the trap may not work so you'll need to try again)

Even if the trap fails it'll still be used up so be sure to buy more than one! Also some traps are required for catching rarer finds.

What do I do if I can't afford to feed my famished pets, and I can't afford to buy an elixir so that I can win an ambush to get gold from defeating enemies?
