This time I snap my fingers and add a sort of flicking motion towards it, in an attempt to get it to leave without hurting it.

A face pokes over the roof edge. "Dusktamer, stop that!" he adds a whistle to it. THe pigeon flutters to him. "SOrry. He likes nipping."
