The humans are nervous, but follow.
The bats follow from the air.
Strange sounds come from all around the forest, creeping everyone out.
Fleck and Jade whimpered, scared, and hid in your pockets.

I ask Echo if he knows what the noises are.
(Are the bats with purple eyes from the book with Raffa and Echo and a red vine and the Quake?)

I tell everyone to stop and climb into trees.
I ask Hades to get the bats to hide themselves.
I put Fleck and Jade in a tree too, and tell them to stay there.
Once everyone is situated, I ready my bow and start scouting out what the noises are.

Everyone does so, but Fleck and Jade refuse to leave you and stay with you.
The noises seem to be from all over, and get louder and quieter in infrequent intervals. Its creepy.
