daily mini entry;; Reverie the Dream Catcher

Reverie is a jolly spirit that appears as an Aeridini and has taken a liking to humans since they first stepped foot on Sylestia's soil. Before the arrival of humans, though, Reverie played with the minds of other creatures that call Sylestia home. Reverie is the opposite of the Dream Eater, since instead of consuming the dreams of beings and causing nightmares, this playful spirit chases away nightmares of both comatose and awake psyches and replaces the melancholy with joyous dreams. And unlike the Dream Eater, that entices fear, Reverie evokes courage and hope, encouraging its 'victims' to think big and shoot for the stars. To not worry about failure and hardships and instead focus on success and the brightest future, even if the first try provides disappointment. Reverie is known best for causing daydreams that distract those affected from the stresses of daily life, as well as being attracted to the sound of crying.

She was born into a small colony of Aeridini and unlike most, who are born during the spring, she was born on a winters night. Considered cursed by most of her tribe she soon found a human to take her. She didn't stay long though, preferring to roam the country side in search of love. She was rumored to be an enchantress, ready too kill. All she wanted was to love and every rumor just broke her heart a little more. She found one who would love her but they soon left for another. While with her they were with another - all while whispering how much they loved her in her ear. She broke into pieces. Shattered. She felt herself die. She took up haunting the ocean shore - considered a ghost now and not an enchantress. Now she won't trust herself to do what she wants most. Love and trust.
