Lomaris, who has been sulking for the last, like, 20 minutes, glances back at the sign, which now reads 'open'. He blinks a couple times. Ugh.... maybe my eyesight is even worse than I thought with this scar.

Even though the store was open, most people knew by now not to show up after Flax had come back from an adventure unless it was an emergency as she tended to be in a fowl mood.
Currently she was just slowly dripping potions together with a pipette at her workbench to try and figure out how many drops of what would make what while jotting down notes about her discoveries.

Poor Lomaris, he has no idea what he's in for. He walks into the shop *sigh* ignoring the foul smell that hangs in the air. "Hello, is the alchemist-"

Flax slowly put everything down before pulling down her hood, turning to GLARE at Lomaris.
"Unless this is an emergency get out. I'm b u s y."

Lomaris (who is still EVERY BIT as awkward as he was when he was 6 years old) stands there for a second, processing that with his one functional (that is, not scarred-over) eye held wide. "R-right," He says at last, not wanting to start a fight. "Have, um, a nice day, miss." He turns to leave.

She glanced over at the elf, something from her childhood tugging at her mind JUST enough that she shrugged her cloak off completely before using the edge of her table to painfully pull herself upright. The elf was obviously new to the village so she couldn't be too cruel.
"Elf boy, come here. What is it that you need. You better have the cojn for it or both sides of your face will match..."

Lomaris sighs shakily, taking a step closer and praying the currency Mirilith and Prism forced him to take gave him is enough.

"Right," Lomaris says quickly. His voice is deep and a bit raspy, adding to his 'mysterious traveling elf' vibe and making him seem *all the more* shady. "I'll.... cut to the point. I've got a demon problem. Got tangled in some cult, uh, business, and the darn thing's in me and it won't get out. My friend referred me to you..... said you were pretty good at charms and the like. I either need to get this demon out or a stronger spell to deal with it." Tried with a priest in another city. That didn't go well. Slapped me, scolded me for 'worshipping demons', and locked me up in a dungeon until Mirilith bailed me out.

Flax listened to the elves explanation and raised her eyebrow, pushing her fringe back to show her scarred up eye before speaking, "Listen kid, I don't usually tangle with demonic ******. Never ends well. I might have what you need if you have the coin though..."
She almost didn't help the man due to many factors but after thinking through a whole mental speech she made up her mind to help but JACK up the price. The elf seemed extremely shady to the point she was considering it was a scam but they acted too much like a wimpy 6yr old to be able to pull that off. She eventually decided to believe the story and came to the conclusion that they were desperate, and desperate ppeople were willing to fork over WAY more coin!
