What emotions did the song give you?:
Curiosity, apprehension at the end.
What did you think of when listening to the song?:
-That an echo to it would be cool, but only if the miasma was an echoy place.
-At first, around 1:23-1:30, I felt like there was a bit too much going on. But after replaying it a bunch, I think it's fine. Pretty good, even. Might have been just my sleep-deprived state.
-I liked how the instruments were introduced one by one.
-It's really nice and polished.
-The vibe the synth(?), idk what's it named, gives suits the story since there are robots.
Are there any instruments that are too loud/quiet/harsh/not fitting?:
Not really.

What did you think of when listening to the song?
Probably influenced by your description, but it does sound like someone recalling a time when they were a child of sort of playing with a friend who's now gone (or they haven't seen them since that time long ago). For some reason I'm getting a black and white sorta flickering image like an old TV (maybe that's an idea for how it looks when they remember things from their past idk) and, uh, chasing butterflies in a meadow or something xD
Are there any instruments that are too loud/quiet/harsh/not fitting?
The repeating beat things (I'm so eloquent lol) in the background are a bit too loud in some places imo, sometimes it disagrees with the notes of the melody, which is fine but when it's so loud, it's kind of jarring?

Uhh for some reason I'm feeling like the last note before the first major pause in the melody should go lower and follow the minor key? It currently weirdly breaks the sort of minor bit that was going on earlier, I think changing it would sort of create suspense(?) until the melody starts up again. (You know how you can tell when a song is ending because the last note often goes up at the end? It sounds like that right now and I don't know if it's intended like that.)

Small update this time, more for organizing this thread.
SUMMARY
I'm going to be creating separate pinglists, as I don't want to overuse this main one. I'm also looking for help on the art for the game.
There will be 3 pinglists:
Main: Added by default. Pinged for major updates only, which will include the art, music, and story created over 1-2 weeks.
Artist: Pinged for art commissions. This is a bit of a tricky one. I'm confident with drawing my characters, though I struggle with pixel art. As pixel art is a vital part of the game, it needs to get done somehow. This pinglist would be me giving a description and requesting art. The form I would be using is at the bottom of this update. Please only ask to be added to this pinglist if you are willing to do art for the game.
Critique: Pinged to critique music, story ideas, and art. This pinglist will be used often (every 1-2 days).

Do you have drawings for any of the characters?
If so show me and I can try making a pixel-lated version using https://www.pixilart.com/draw which is free and online. You can use it to create animated gifs though I do not have the available time to do that.
