She raised an eyebrow at Nic and said, "You do realize, I can't see where upstairs is. I can't detect immovable objects as well as I can living things or weapons coming right at me." She frowned. "I can't even light leap there because I don't know what it's like."

"I will take you then. Your in he basement at the moment." Nicote said, getting up and wlakign over to her, before taking hr arm and leading her upstairs.

She nodded. "Thanks." She said. "I hope I'm not being that much of a burden, but then again if I tried doing it myself, I'd probably break everything in sight." She said as she let Nic lead her upstairs.

She frowned. "You're Nic right?" She asked, just to make sure she had gotten them right in her head, "And what did Lish mean about 50 years and not aging." She added before she realized what she had said and smacked herself in the head. She blushed. "You know what, ignore me, I'll stop talking."

"..YOu do not want to know, it is a long story." Nic said curtly. "And it is not muc hbother, as we keep to ourselves much of the time." He lead her up to a guest room. "You can stay here."

She shrugged. "I've heard a lot of long stories, and most of them don't end well. I mean how much worse could it be then a place where everyone's constantly trying to murder each other full of boring politics and pointless truce meetings that ends in someone throwing a fit." She said. She was quite intrigued, most of the time she ended up here, she would end up on the outskirts of the area, and then if anyone decided to talk to her, it would mostly be a thank you before they just ran away in a hurry.

"Then you will probably be fine ina world where everything is one big mess and very little makes sense. Oh, do not go out without a facial covering, you might not be used to how contaminated the air is." Nic advised. "It is much better now but the Darkness has polluted our air much."

Astra nodded. Thanks. She said giving him a smile. But its not that different from where I come from. At least most of the stuff here you see is how it looks like actually. Better than seeing something beautiful and than realizing its all an illusion of how dead the land is.

"Better to be real hen not....hough a bit of illusion would help, it is much too drab and red and grey then I remember."

He looked up at his new audience though, heat rising to his cheeks. "Ah-ahm--" He stuttered trying to amend his eavesdropping. "Y-your story was very lovely!"

She shrugged. Well Canopus is all fog and darkness. Evidentially because of our elvin magic, we somewhat brought life to a fraction of the place. Although Im not sure thats awfully good as now they are just fancy people who use passive aggressiveness to get what they want.
