Since its getting dark I take my flashlight and search the barn to see if it looks like a safe place to rest for the night

Upon entering the barn, your flashlight shines over brightly coloured puddles of ooze and bottles that were spilled. In the back is a loft, the only way of getting up was an unstable pile of haybales.

I continue stroking her fur as I head out of the house. I search the ruins for any signs of life, remembering the screams I heard earlier.

I try to see if ican get up the hay bales, even just to see the whole top view of the barn

A burnt rotting smell greets your nose when you reenter the ruins. You search around for a bit finding nothing but rotting flesh and corpses.
That dragon really did a number on the area.

You climb the bales to the loft, your foot catching in a couple holes in the bales. A pile of books lies in the corner of the loft accompanied by a small wooden work table.
The table holds an open book, a few weird ingredients, and empty bottles.

Ew. I wrinkle my nose and head past the ruins as fast as I can. I set the Lupora down once I'm a good ways away and frown at her. "Do you have a name?"
