The faucet in the kitchen didn't work, and, unfortunately, you lacked the intelligence to repair the piping. You're next option is the well, but it looks as though breathing near it will make it come crashing down. The only good thing about coming outside is the random potato the munchkin threw at your at, you passed out for a little while. Will you take the chances of going to the well or try to find another house with food and water?

In one day with limping Charles, you managed to get about 1/2 of a mile before he made you stop. There needs to be a sort of camp, so it leaves two options. One, you construct a make-shift camp outside. Two, you go into one of the houses and hope nothing comes for you. One or Two?
