I've accepted Allison, but if possible could you fill in the secret rule under other (or backstory ^^) Also since you're part civilian, what class are you? (Lower, Middle, Upper etc)

Both accepted. Will you two be working together? And if so, would you like a fleet name?

@Dragon, will you be specialised in Melee or Ranged? I wasn't thinking scurvy, I'm thinking about food. You can't access ports who you have negative/ pirate reputation with. Ships will avoid you and you can only attack in non-protected areas. Scurvy is easily dealt with by buying lime juice. There are small pirates everywhere, however player vs player is limited. Places where pvp is allowed and there are more pirates: Baltic Sea, the Black Sea, the Canary Islands, and the Azores, Caribbean Sea, the lower half of the west coast of Africa, sometimes the south coast of Africa, the waters around India and East Asia. And starting a farm can be expensive. My recommendation is be a pirate once you're experienced enough, don't just throw yourself straight into it :D I'd say have a decent ship that's not beginner as well owo

@Clem (We've called you this for a while, are you fine with it? owo) Sheera says she'll be a melee based with starting weapon a one and a half handed sword. I think separate starting posts would be good so I'll get started on that in a new ping.

You headed to the port together and two ships were tied to the deck, the Ghost and Wind's Pleasure were written in golden letters on the side. There were a few sailors the school had given you to help start you off. The day was windy away from London towards the sea and the waves were gentle. Your sails flapped. Behind you, there were lots of streets with markets, a fountain in the middle. A new mayor had been appointed recently and negotiations with Amsterdam were happening regularly, there seemed to be a planned trade route with them. Neither of you were sure for what, but from what Alice had been taught, today was a good day to sail. Further from the bay, you could already see some small ships. Some were anchored in the bay and others were sailing around.

I think Arthur will just play it stealthy and not reveal who he is as of now. I'll go with ranged, but I could do melee if needed to.

Clem, wanna do le fleet?

Your job is currently Fighting learner, x3 You need to be a privateer before pirate (trainee pirate basically) so a few steps. Ranged is cannons, guns, archery and stuff. Chosen weapon?

And when you mean "and stuff" do you mean like knives and stuff?

Eh, yeah, throwing knives, but at your level you'd find it close to impossible. You aren't experienced enough to hit someone on a ship maybe a mile away with a knife. I sent you starting post. Actually, pistols would be on land ranged.

Well, throwing knives sounds amazing :P
I would choose that but then I realise pistols can do more damage in most aspects.
Could Arthur eventually learn both?

Yes, however cannons are on water ranged and maybe a big gun would also be. Anything smaller than that is a land ranged, so pistols would be a land ranged weapon like a throwing knife. You can buy weapons, though.

Pistols have an impressive firing range though. I think it will do for now.
