" Oh, I'm fine. Just startled me was all. " She smiled fakely, she was terrible at smiling genuinely. She felt super awkward, and didn't really know what to say. She tapped her finger on her side uncomfortably.
" I'm Dakota by the way... " She said quickly, she was trying to make the situation less awkward, it wasn't the best feeling in the world.

Barring his teeth he made a quick decision. Crouching he lunged at the female, tackling her before running off in what he though was the right direction of home. When he came to unfamiliar dead end though he panicked not knowing where he was now. He let up a low call much like a lost cat, searching for anything that might have been familiar.

She blocked the attack with her brush and watched it run off."Ooookaaaayyyyy then".She had the urge to follow it,but i think it carniverious.maybe she could go grab something.She ran back home

Rune rubbed the back of his neck. Not sure what to do. It was the first time in... forever that he talked to someone besides his grandmother. He avoided eye contact, gazing over the surroundings instead. "T-that's good..." he said in a very quiet voice. He glanced back up at her face as she said her name. "Rune," he gave his name in response.

" Well, I should get going, I dont want my brother thinking I've disappeared now... " She said, looking towards the direction of her and her brothers house. She shifted her weight to her right foot. Her social skills needed some work.

The man had left some time ago and hadn't returned yet. Not knowing what else to do, Gluskin got up and exited the home. He felt too uncomfortable to stay there, and the lights hurt his eyes. Maybe it was best he went home before he did anything irrational. Though he wasn't able to see in the dark to find the way home thus he was forced to enter the city. As some as he took one step into the rather crowded place he begun to panicked. His breathing quickened, and he grabbed at the sides of his head as he backed away from the light and noise. Bad idea...bad idea. So he sat near the gate trying to think of a way to get home, of a way to find his place in the world again.

Rune nodded in understanding. Her situation with her brother wasn't much different than with his grandmother in that sense, but he doubted this girl ever pushed the limits with her brother. He felt a bit of guilt sink in at that thought, wondering what his grandmother thought when he was gone for days. He was never gone for more than a week, but would he ever get to the point of pushing that limit too? No... He wouldn't do that. He shook his head at his thoughts. "Um... yeah... Bye then..." he replied. It was time to go back on his hard long search.
