I have major claurophobia (Fear of clowns). They have red, painted on smiles and eyes that stare into your soul which is terrifying (no offence to the nice clowns :D ). Just imagine one of them coming out from a gas station or by the side of the road lolloping crazily towards you. THEY'RE CREEPY.

:P

Once I was trick-or-treating around my neighborhood, and I saw this clown standing on the street, looking very creepy. Maybe he was lonely, I don't know, but I just tried my best to not freak out and stay away from him.

I understand video game death phobia! There are certain games that I was extremely afraid to have my character die in

For example in Diablo 1: the music is really scary, the areas (catacombs was the most terrifying - it was a dark place, and it was hard to see around corners) and my character would often often die being cornered or trapped between hundreds of demons, all of them screaming and shrieking at you, and still attacking you even after the character is dead. Then the screen would turn red, and the demons would still be taunting and attacking. The worst is when you opened up a door, and a whole ton of demons just suddenly poured out and swarmed you.

Another example is Doom and Doom II. It was absolutely terrifying, especially on certain levels. There's a hedge maze secret level that plays really childish music, and all throughout the maze are terrifying skeleton mages that can suddenly pop up out of nowhere and kill you easily. They also make a horrible sound and sometimes you can hear them on the other side of the hedge wall, but you can't get to them

That sounds awful. I think it goes without saying that I will never play those.
