Wow things are looking great now! :D And sure, I'd like updates. ^.^ Though I'm pretty sure I'll check here anyhow. :D

Yep they are. The support from everyone has been such a big help in me staying as possitive as I can.

Communicating with my dr's office and the surgeon's office is going well...just waiting to either find out what day or to pick the date of my surgery.

And as far as my glasses go I'll have those by the end of the month, which is awesome.

Update for June 17th:
Well I had found out as I told you all that my referal was sent over to the Orthopeadic Surgeon's office. I called them yesterday to find out about the statis of it because 4-5 days of having a referal sounded a bit long to have not gotten any info from them regarding at least that they read it over and are determining a final few details. Well come to find out they didn't have it!!! Which I feel is bull poop, but there is nothing I could do about it. So I called my Dr.'s office to get the referal refaxed to the Orthropeadic Surgeon's office. I was stuck talking to the rudist receptionist lady in regards to this...I understand you have a tough job, but seriously when some one is in destress and pain isnt when you get a snipy tone with them...cause they will send it right back...especially if they feel you are being incompitant. I was fuming after all this bull poop happended so I just stayed offline for most of the remainder of the day.



Update for June 18th:
I called the Orthopeadic Surgeon's office again today...yet again the referal didnt show up!!! Naturally I started getting peeved. However unlike yesterday I had a sweet and compitant lady helping me out. I was on hold alot over the corse of the call(about half of the total call time), but I was totally fine with that cause things FINALLY got done the way they should have been done earlier on! The lady that helped me out today personally called my Dr.'s office to have them fax my referal directly to her personal fax(in her office, I think she's the head of the receptionists/secrataries). She was going to hand deliver the referal herself to the Ortho. Surgeons nurse, and relay my preferance for going in for the soonest possible avalible date as can be managed which is the 10th of July, I even said I would take the last appointment of that day. The Ortho. Surgeon is only avalible on fridays, and too add to things the surgery clinic that I'll be going to is serving a 4 county area as they are the only ones that take MediCal, which is why appointments take a while to get. IF I dont get in on the 10th of July, my surgery will be in August. I also found out who is possibly going to be preforming the surgery, Dr. McDonald(spelling?). I will get a call most likely on monday from the surgeons nurse to make the appointment offical(find out for sure the surgeons name, the date, and the time). At least I finally have more forward progress. I really hope that I get the July one though cause I dont think I could do another 6 to 8 weeks of only using my hand for 4 hours per day and wanting to cry from all the pain daily...additionally I'm running out of my pain killers too, so another trip to the ER may be needed just so I can manage my pain till my surgery. Especially with the fact that my chronic pain, fatigue, insomina(wish amplafies my pain and my fatigue), bad joints, mobility, and ballance issues.
I could really use some hugs, and cheering up.


On a better note I get my glasses in just 9 more days!!! So that's great.

oh my goodness what a wild past two days. I sure hope they get that ball rolling. I understand what it is like living with daily pain and nothing you can do about it. :( I'll keep praying for you.

Yeah, and when you have a toddler to take care of having only one hand to properly use ontop of everything else really isn't the easiest thing. My daugher LOVES to be cuddled and held(as do the family puppy and the family cat)...but with one hand its just not safe to do so as much as they would like. I have alot of medical problems I deal with daily as it is, and the cyst just sent things over the amount I can cope with.

Thanks Star. I really hope that me explaining things to the head receptionist and requesting that the nurse be told why i need the soonest possible appointment works out. I'll know more on monday... just one more weekend till I get the rest of my answers.
