You have arrived at the meadows. you know there are mountains, a desert, a trading stall, and a lake nearby where do you go? what do you do?

Not my art
His name is Zarune Selwyn.
The grass around him swayed some as he wadded through it, the dark robes he wore seeming to absorb the heat the sun gave off. Why had he decided to come this way? Which way had he been traveling? It was hard to remember. The raised scrap on the side of his head seemed to throb some. He couldn't recall how he had gotten that either though it must have had to do with his loss of memory. As he topped a small hill though he could see about the surrounding area. Perhaps he could ask someone where he was and that would jog his memory? Stumbling a bit he made his way forward towards the trading stall. If not then maybe he could seek help elsewhere.
they both nod their heads at you and shake their heads at themselves.
"You guys are confusing." I smile and pat them affectionately. I change my course to not go up the mountain anymore.

(just a quick note, please don't describe the surrounding as the narrator might prefere it to be stormy or maybe the grass is dying to further the plot. And while I don't mind you having amnesia keep in mind that other rpg's might not allow it as that's not part of the starting storyline)

You are on a small cleft, it seems to go a little ways around the mountain, you can explore that or go back down.

As he approached the stall he slightly bowed to the man in greeting. "I seem to be a bit lost..." Zarune started, feeling dizzy from the wound to his head. "C-could you tell me where exactly I am?"
