I think you happened to went to the city during a raid. Every 3 hours, at 12, 3, 6, and 9 am/pm there is a raid at one of the few regions in the first 2 zones. There will be a yellow bar at the top of the map page telling the region in which the raid is taking place, and the progress of the raid.
Seeing that you posted this at 12.23pm, you probably happened to enter the city during a raid time. When that happens, you'll just have to wait till the raid is over to enter the city.
Otherwise, if you leave your pets for a period of time (i think about 30min), they will automatically revive and regain their health if they are fed. =)

Hehe...me again, anyway, I have a slight problem, I am trying to defeat the undead at the top of the shrine, but no matter how hard I try I keep loosing. I've used as many different techniques and moves as I can, and do not have enough gold to purchase a 3rd slot for my party, and lately, I've been finding nothing but traps when I explore, so basically, I'm kinda...stuck. Is there anything I can do to at least get more gold in a faster way? Missions aren't treating me well lately either, musta walked under a ladder at some point XD whatever helps, until then, I shall keep trying :D

Here's a guide on the various ways to earn gold: https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=2280
Missions is the easiest way to earn gold, though it's best if you have pets that specialise in the stat. You should take note which stat is required for the mission.
Also, I took a quick look at your party pets. I think you should take a look at this guide on how to equip and assign points to party pets here: https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=11101
In summary, always choose between intelligence OR strength. The two have no use together. So if you add points to strength, don't add any points to intelligence. Equipment should match the points you add. So if you add points to strength, find equipment that adds more points to strength instead of those that add more to intelligence, or split points equally. Likewise, choose a proficiency tree that adds to the same stat you choose to increase. So choose a strength proficiency tree if you're adding strength.

I had a question, does inbreeding effect anything?

At this time, inbreeding does not affect anything. It was only introduced to the game earlier this year, and it's just for people to check the inbreeding if they're curious. But it does not affect the pet's breeding, colours, stats, or anything. And the admins have not said if it will in the future.
Some people may not like it if there is a high inbreeding, and may be less inclined to buy pets with such, but as far as I know, most players are not concerned about the percentage of inbreeding, as long as they can still breed the pet.

During a raid, are there supposed to be more rare and stronger regular pets than normal? Because the monster dudes are weird, but occasionally there will be a regular pet that shows up. And in the raid ten minutes ago, I saw four rare pets, an it was my first time ever seeing a rare pet. So seeing four rares in the span of ten minutes is kinda unusual.

Not sure the official statistics, but I think more rare pets appear during raids. At least it seems that way to me.
Also, raids are the only place that you might encounter a 4-starred wild pet. which means they have higher stats if you catch them (but they're also harder to kill).
