Winter
She understands. Closing her eyes she silently takes a deep breath and concentrates on her favorite memory. She's younger in the memory, and Echo is with her. She had been bored, so She asked Echo to play with her. They decided to play hide and seek. Winter had scampered off to hide in the banks of a nearby stream, but got distracted by her reflection in the waters. The leaves above her head played with her reflection making her look bigger, older even. The ripples in the stream changed her reflection to look like a different wolf entirely. It looked like her mother. Winter would smile, and the wolf in the stream looking back at her would smile too. From that day on, Winter would play at the stream whenever she was sad or missing her parents, for she could find their comforting faces in the waters.



Raven

"That could be a part of it," he says smiling. "Maybe I just wanted to say North is going North." He glances up at the few fluffy white clouds drifting overhead and continues on. "But North is also the direction that even the smallest of pups in our pack know which way it is."

Echo

"That Idiot!" Echo snaps, panicking. She looks over at Luna. "We need to get to him, fast. He could die without us." Overconfident bird brain she thinks. Obviously that path wouldn't work, can he not see the wolves who previously attempted the same thing? "Hold still!!!!" She calls to him. "Moving will only make this worse, we need more time!"
"What to do, what to do," She mutters pacing the side of the ravine looking for a better way to get to him. "Vines or sticks, we could lower some to him. Look around for some!" She says and she whirls around looking.

Yin swam up to the top of the current, stlll determined not to perish.

He kinda wanted to kill some wolves lul.

Echo


Screw this, she thinks, grabbing a thick long stick that had clearly recently fallen with all its leaves attached. She can barely lift it but she manages. This will float she thinks, glaring between branches. And with that, she throws it down into the river infront of Yin. "Grab it!" She screams, "It will keep you up! Grab it!"

Yin jumps up and catches it.

*not like them.. not like them..*

Echo heaves a sigh of relief when he catches it. He wasn't going to drown. "Steer to shore!" She calls down to him.

Yin did so, growling under his breath. Hw would murder those wolves behind all this..

"Let's go down to him" Echo says to Luna. She sniffs along the top of the ravine, and finding the path down with the least amount of rocks, she slides down to Yin. When she gets there she shakes the mud out of her fur, then growls at him. "You scared the crap out of me!" She laughs then smiles, "I'm glad your not dead though!" She looks him over sniffing his wounds and soft spots. "These won't kill you either as long as you keep them clean. You need to rest, I think you have a concussion. And top hurting yourself! I don't know how you;ve made it without a couple of healers by your side your entire life." She jokes
