"Uhhh yeah. I'm kind of surprised you didn't see it when I was waving around everywhere," I say, pulling out my garrote. "Well, assuming your parents left, maybe we could look around a bit and see if there could be anything of use?"

"If we need to leave, we can always grab some supplies from here, there's food in the kitchen and who knows what in the closets.

But I think it would be better to stay here while we can, at least for now, it would be better to have somewhere to stay or defend, you know, like a base? If we leave, who knows if when or if we'll ever get a roof over our heads or a good place to sleep?

On the other hand, if they come for us while we're still here, it might be harder to escape, and if we're on the run, it would be easier to stay clear of those... monsters. Not to mention that the supplies here will run out eventually..."

Tori trails off, looking embarrassed. "Well, there I go, rambling again. But we do have to decide what we're going to do next... why don't you choose, I'm sure you're more experienced than me!"

Will you stay at Tori's house for now or leave?

I purse my lips, deep in thought. "I think... that we should grab as much supplies as we can carry, then head out of here. The risk of the shadow people coming back doesn't appeal to me at all. Hopefully we will come across some shelter during our journey." I said, looking back at Tori.

She looks serious. "Well, no time to waste, then. Do you want me to take you around the house to grab supplies?"

"That would be great, thank you," I mumble, stepping out of the room and turning back to Tori, waiting for her to lead the way

(Um, can I quit? It is hard to deal with family problems then try and catch up. Got myself lost. Im so sorry!)

She leads you out of the hallway into what is obviously a kitchen. It's quite large and has a stove on one side and a sink on the other, the fridge is against the wall, the microwave and oven are on the opposite side of the fridge. "Anything from here?"

"There might be a few food items from the fridge, but not much, as most items probably need to stay cold. Maybe you can search the cabinets and see if anything useful is in there?" I reply, opening the fridge in search of anything useful
