I let my eyes follow the fleeing prey. I huff. "It's not worth it. If you either of us end up lost due to chasing it then our pack mate will assume the worst. No it's safer to stay by the water. If we have to we can catch squirrels or something slower."

Saffron watches as the rabbit disappears from sight. The moonwolf had undeniable logic there. And these woods didn't seem empty. "I'm not a good enough hunter for a fleeing rabbit anyways." She crouches down and drinks her fill before tearing a rather large clump of moss of a nearby tree and dunking it in the river.
