(Thank you, accepted!)

You are only a few steps behind another visitor, who also seems to be new to the village. You stop behind them as they approach the map, and try to peek over them as they are blocking your view a little.

Quickly glancing up, you notice a large Aeridini resting on top of the wooden frame.

(Not marked)

He is busy speaking with yet another guest at the moment, and is answering question after question as they seem to ask an endless flow.

"What's an Estelle?" You hear the girl ask, and the Aeridini pauses as he tries to think of how to reply.

"That's a bit of a hard question to answer." He says thoughtfully. "I didn't even know they existed before I met Sunny. Like I said, you can meet her later and see what she looks like, but other than that I'm not exactly sure. All I know is that they are creatures born when someone wishes selflessly upon a star, and that they have strange and powerful magic.

"You probably noticed some glowing star marking on the trees around this area as you neared the village. Those were all created by Sunny, to guide people to the village. She is also the one who taught us to speak your language, using her magic."

Do you want to keep listening to their conversation, or ignore them and continue with your own activities?

Turning back to the map, and doing your best to see without pushing against the other two visitors, you consider where you want to go next.

(You can see the map in the second post on the front page)

As you are looking at the map, you hear a quiet voice from somewhere to your left. Turning to look, you see a much smaller Aeridini than the one perched on the map. She hides behind her tail a little as you glance at her, squeaking something quietly.

(Not marked)

"H-hello," she stutters. "I-I'm Dusk. Can I help you with anything? Do you need help reading the map, or d-do you have any questions about our village?"

"Hello!" I say cheerfully. "Aren't you a pretty Aeridini? As a matter of fact, I would love some help reading the map, I'm not so good at reading maps in general," I chuckle.

She blushes a little at your comment, but you can see she looks less nervous already. She gracefully glides beside you, turning her gaze towards the map.

Reaching up, she touches the map with her claw and draws an invisible circle around an area to the bottom left corner.

Down here is the meadow. Sylesties from the village like to go there to play and pick flowers, but you can also meet wild sylesties there. Wild sylesties don't know how to speak your language, because Sunny hasn't taught them yet. However your own team or sylesties from the village should have no trouble. You can also meet wild sylesties anywhere else outside the village, but you are less likely to get help from the villagers because we don't go to the other areas as often.

"These circles over here," she continues, flying up a little and drawing another line around an area to the right. "are the orchards. We grow all our fruit there. Then there are the gardens, mostly for vegetables..." she points to a square patch touching what is obviously the village walls. "...and here are the crop fields. Where we grow out wheat and such."

She then flies back down to you, pointing at some writing on a smaller sign under the map.
"There is a list of where the sylesties work. Some examples are the Zolnixi work at the bakery, and the Kelpari at the fishery."

"The houses are all the boxes in the village without names. The smaller ones are homes to most of the sylesties, but the bigger ones near the top are where the themed and special design ones live."

"Thank you so much for explaining!" I say. "Is there anything you'd suggest I check out first?"

(When you say you'll be looking at the stats, do you mean the current stats or the base stats?)

Dusk pauses, before nodding.

"Well, obviously since each species of sylestie works in a different area, you can easily visit whatever species you prefer. But as for the places that I think are the best to visit go, the mill work is a really interesting process, and the Qitari are really friendly. Then there is the herbalist shop, which is cool because there are so many different plants with all sorts of uses. Oh, and of course the Inn, although you'll be stopping there at the end of the day anyway so you might not want to visit it first. Unless you want to get settled into your room early or something." She pauses, then shrugs.

"All of the places have their own charms, I suppose." She says. "Any suggestions I give are based simply on personal preference, although sometimes there are special events going on at certain locations. Unfortunately there aren't any today, but usually we Aeridini are the first to know about those things."

"Thank you so much for your help!" I say again. "I'll be sure to check out all of the places you mentioned!"
I wave goodbye to her and decide to head to the mill.
