As the night went on, the colder the lands grew and the sounds of howling beasts filled the air. Willow shook Matt away and they quickly packed- the howls were too close for comfort. They started to run east.. right into a pack of the wild ones. A group of humans who tamed wolves.

Phoenix jolted awake, hearing the howls. Not good. THe fire was out.

Peggi (who'd woken up) glanced around nervously. "This would be a good time for you to work you magic, Phoe..."

"WHat? You really want me to try taming already-owened wolves? Sure I'm crazy but I'm not going to kill myself." But just in case, he drew his knives.

Willow attacked the people seeing no other way to escape, she got attacked by the wolves, and people. She cried out in pain but continued to fight, the group went towards Phoenix and Peggi..

Phoenix jumped up, ready to fight. "Peg, see if you can make a fire." he yelled, Running at the wolves (yea he does have a busted leg), he started doing a mix of taming/fighting, depending on which wolf he was going for.

Matt helped Willow patch her wounds, Willow was badly hurt and wouldn't be able to run long distances.

Cobalt pulled at a strap tied to the base of the concrete stack. Pulling it towards him, it blocked the entrance to his tent. None of those beasts can get in tonight, he thought with satisfaction. Even then, if they did get in, they're not killing me.

Peggi ran to Phoenix with some sticks lighted on fire. She threw them at the wolves.



Phoenix turned and saw Willow and Matt. "You two ok?"
